HASEMANE

Synopsis: As the title indicates 'Wedding' in one's life is the very turning point, which either shapes or shakes the entire life of the couple, who enter into wedlock. Not only the couple but the two families, parents, brothers etc. are also liable to under go suffering. More so incase of joint families, in Indian situation.

Sadananda, a Retired Music teacher, heads a happy family with four daughters and one son. He has a lovable wife also. His brother in-law is Srikantaiah who has a daughter Damini and Son Dheeraj. Both the families have agreed to strengthen their bonds by marrying Damini-Gagan, son of Sadananda, as also Dheeraj and Mandara. But owing to the selfishness of Srikantaiah's family the engagement is broken and Sadananda is a worried man. Sadananda though outwardly tries for Mandara’s alliance, secretly; he comes in the way of any alliance and always somehow breaks such alliance becoming a reality. All this because he knows something which no one else does. But he is unable to talk to anybody this condition. This fact remains a secret to the entire family including Mandara.

Mandara is working as a lecturer in a college, the Chairman Sri Dharmpal is interested in marrying Mandara, while her sister is attracted towards Dharmpals son Satyapal. This adds another dimension to story.

The happy family of Sadananda is in a turmoil. Thus 'Hasemane' Symbolic of Marriage becomes a riddle and puts Sadananda and his family into hardships and tight situations.

Thus progresses the story, where neither reason nor faith works. Should the human existence depend on the instituiton of Marriage? Is it the “be end and end all” of life? This is the central theme of this Mega Serial.
