KUNIYONU BAARA IS BACK

Bangalore, 7^th July 2007 :
“KUNIYONU BAARA” series which began on Zee Kannada in the month of February has successfully created a sensation in the minds of the viewers. Zee Kannada is back with Kuniyonu Baara-2, starting July 7, also a dance competition for celebrities of the Kannada film/ television industry teamed up as couples with choreographers. Each week will have a different theme, such as film songs, folk songs, classical, disco, etc. People have the right to vote for their favourite pair through SMS.

The first series ended with two couples (Ashita & Gokul and Neeta & Ajaz) finally making it to Series two. This series will also feature five new couples, of which two will make it to the finals, competing with the two winning couples from the series one.

The couples are:
Manu & Namitha,
Dilip & Suchitra + Hemanth,
Preeti Chandrashekar & Kumar,
Harish & Kaavya + Kalai, Sunitha & Ramesh

Intro to participants:
Namitha : Comedy actress and a cookery show host
Dilipraj: Film & Television actor, very popular in Television industry
Preeti Chandrashekar: Popular tele artiste & Musical shows host Harish
Rayappa : Small screen actor
Sunitha: Upcoming Actress
Manu, Kalai, Ramesh, Hemanth & Kumar are all professional choreographers

The judges for this season are film director Mahesh Babu, and, popular dance choreographer Harini.

Charming Akul will accompany vivacious Meghana to host the show.

July 7th episode will witness Dr.RajKumar special. Teams will be dancing to popular numbers such as “Aaneya Mele Ambari Kande”, “Kalletiginta ninna kannete”, "Chandira Tanda Hunnime Raatri”, “Bittare Sigadavane” and “Hattooralli ninnantha”
