Chittaara - a children’s talent hunt show

Bangalore, 5^th July 2007 :
After successful reality shows, `Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa’ and `Kuniyonu Baara’, which are remarkable programmes on small screen, Zee Kannada has now started a Kids programme “Chittaara”. Chittaara, a children’s talent hunt show is a platform for the children to exhibit their talent in less than 3 minutes. Children between 6 to 12 years of age would participate. This recognizes their talents in various categories like dance, music and acting .

Zee Kannada has invited the kids from all over Karnataka to participate in this reality show. In the first stage there are 360 participants who will exhibit their talent in 3 Mins. Every week six participants are selected from each section such as singing, dancing, acting, monoact, magic show….. etc.

In the second stage 180 children will present their talent in 90 seconds. From 180 only 54 will be selected to the final stage. Here each of them will get just a minute to prove their talent and finally there will be three winners. This programme is telecast on Zee Kannada - Monday to Friday at 5 pm. Viewers can vote for their favourite tiny tot by SMSing their choice.
