All the handkerchieves received will be tied together to form the biggest ever chain of signed handkerchieves.
The Zee Kannada team will travel across the state and put up collection boxes at select locations like schools, colleges, orphanages, institutes for the disabled, malls, coffee shops etc, details of which will be announced on the channel. People have to sign wishes on their hankies and drop it off in the collection boxes. Fans can also SMS wishes to
ZK <SPACE> CWC2007 <SPACE> their message to 7575
or send an email to zkworldcup2007@zeenetwork.com.
All the wishes will be handed over to the Indian Cricket team before the start of the tournament.
Hankies a concept only 400 years old, has become a common accessory to one and all and is also considered a very personal one. It is with this small piece of linen that Zee Kannada hopes to wipe the sweat off our team and encourage them to win us back the World Cup. This unique concept is the first of its kind in the entire country and is all set to create records.
