Children to take the center stage on ZEE KANNADA’S KUNIYONU BAARA

Bangalore, 10^th June 2008 :

Ms.Mamta Bai became the lucky winner of the third season of the most popular dance show of Karnataka, Zee Kannada’s Kuniyonu Baara. She emerged as the winner in the finals that took place on June 8 and walked away with a 30 x 40 site on Bangalore-Mysore Road. The first runner-up Mr.Shivashankar won cash prize of Rs.50,000/- and the other two runners-up Mr.Nagendra and Mr.Narasimha won cash prize worth Rs.25,000/- each.

The auditions for the next season of Kuniyonu Baara has already had huge response across Karnataka with over 1000 kids in the age group of 6 – 12 years participating. Out of which 58 children were short listed for the next round and further screening has brought it down to 24 participants who will be competing in the actual studio rounds that would begin from June 14, every Saturday and Sunday at 8.00pm on Zee Kannada.

“Zee Kannada, through Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Little Champs has been successful in discovering singing talents in that age group and is now all set to unveil the dancing talents as well”, said Mr.Anup Chandrasekharan, Business Head, Zee Kannada.

Another highlight of this show is going to be the anchors of the show who also are going to be two popular children. Sahana and Anirudh of the Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Lil champs popularity will enthrall the audience with their innocent and charming anchoring, while, Chaya Singh and Maloor Sreenivas would be judging the competition.
