winners of Zee Kannada’s Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs

Bangalore, 8^th April 2008 :

Ajay Bharadwaj and Ohileshwari are the winners of the mega finals of Zee Kannada’s “Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa- Lil Champs”, the biggest and most popular musical reality show of Karnataka. The finals telecast on Sunday, April 6, 2008 was judged by the very popular Padmasri Kavita Krishnamurthy Subramaniam and Rajesh Krishnan.

The event witnessed some splendid, mind-blowing performances by the little angels. “Araluva Hoovugale aalisiri, baalondu horata mreyadiri”, “ Naguva nayana madhura mauna”, “ee hasiru siriyali mansa mareyali navile”, “Karunada taayi sada chinmayi…” were some of the numbers that were immortalized yet again by these little champs.

The kids sang some really challenging numbers like Ghatasala’s “Shivashankari chandrakaladari Eeshwari…”, “Ninnindale kanasondu shuruvagide” and others, which even the trained, think twice before singing.

The entire audience was spell bound by the amazing talent exhibited by each one of the four finalists. The auditorium was filled with thunderous applause along with few wet eyes and the judges were in a total fix to decide the winners. All in all it was a complete action packed event.

The channel also announced the start of the next season of Lil Champs from April 12th every Saturday and Sunday at 9pm.

DOB : August 6th, 1997, 11 yrs
She has a lovely husky voice which suits every kind of singing. She loves singing fast nukbers and does them superbly. Sahana noticed more so for her dimples is always smiling and emoting actions loudly. She is also a poetess in the making, who pens downs her thoughts in the form of poetry. She has won many awards for her achievements in Quizzing, Athletics, paintings etc.,

:: Ohileshwari ::
DOB : Feb 27th 1996, 11 yrs
A swimmer, she has won many state and national level medals in Swimming. She is the eldest of the whole bunch and a very friendly person. She has a wonderful rapport with her parents.

DOB : 8th Dec, 1996 , 11 yrs
Favorite color: red. Key board player, does yoga meticulously for the past 6 months, is studious. He is learning music from his grand mum, who is his Guru, Vidhushi Malini Sampath

DOB : June 5th 1996 , 11 yrs
Cricket crazy, friendly, sings all types of songs. HE LOVES TO PLAY GAMES 24/7.
