ZEE KANNADA’S KUNIYONU BAARA 3 WINNERS COULD BE LAND OWNERS

Bangalore, 31^st May 2008 :

Zee Kannada’s Kuniyonu Baara, South India’s greatest dance show has always given an encouraging and challenging platform for the participants. Kuniyonu Baara 3 which is on air every Saturday and Sunday between 8.00pm and 9.00pm is now at its most exciting final stages. Third series of Kuniyona Baara will conclude on Sunday (5.30 pm to 9.00pm) , June 8. The main attraction is that the Winner of the show gets to own a 30x40 site in a prime locality on Mysore Road. And the first runner up will get 50 thousand and other two runner up will get 25 thousand each.

The show has been so popular and action packed that the entire state is waiting to know the final results. The Grand Finale for 3 hrs will see the most amazing performances by the four finalists Shivashankar, Mamta Bhai, Nagendra and Narasimha(Anekal). The event will have celebrities like Anirudh, Neetu, Manomurthy, Aditya and others.

For the finals, along with the two permanent judges Nagendra Prasad [“Hamma Hamma” fame, the very well known dancer/ choreographer/ actor who also is the brother of “dancing idol” Prabhu Deva] and Chaya Singh [popular, glamorous actor] the legendary Mr.Sundaram [Sunder sir, the great choreographer and Prabhu Deva’s father] will also be judging.

26 contestants were selected from all over Karnataka after a thorough audition process held in Bangalore. The participants went through 11 challenging rounds for 13 weeks. The various rounds included innovations under the following categories: folk songs, item songs, retro round, non-filmi themes etc. Each participant were trained by well known choreographers of Kannada industry who guided them through various factors like dancing, presentation skills, innovation, body language, costumes, grooming etc.

The show hosted by Master Anand and Sneha, like the other 2 scintillating seasons was filled with high energy performance, lot of drama and emotions.

“Kuniyonu Baara 3 is an attempt to provide a glorious platform to the aspirants and showcase different forms of dances with a class, style and chic to better Bollywood standards. The prize at stake is also bigger than ever before and the nature of the prize is such that the value of it gets bigger by the day”, said Anup Chandrasekharan, Business Head, Zee Kannada.
