Show Rules & Regulations:

1. Participation in the game will be construed as an acceptance of the Rules and Regulations stated herein

2. Eligibility to participate :-
a. The participant should have acquired a loan on his account from a reputed and registered financial firm working in Karnataka.
b. Age – 18 years completed.
c. The participant should be able to read and understand Kannada and should be able to sign (thumb impression is entertained) the documents and contract.
d. He / she must be Indian national.
e. He / she must be staying in India for more than last 5 (five) years


3. Documents to be submitted:-
f. residence proof – ration card / landline bill or electricity bill
g. Photo identity proof – employee I-card / PAN card / passport/ driving licence
h. Loan proof – Bank statement for three months showing the EMI debit and loan account statement.
i. Three passport size photographs.

4. The participants will submit the required documents to prove that they are in debt to a particular financial institute for a particular loan.

5. The documents shall be verified by the Channel’s verification team. If any discrepancy is found at any stage, the candidature of the participant will be disqualified. The decision of the Channel in this regard is final and binding on all the participants.

6. The participation/performance in the said game is purely voluntary and free of cost. By conducting the said game show, the channel (Zee) or their production house has not promised or undertaken to render any kind of service to the participants of the game show and the participants shall not be entitled to claim or make any dispute on the ground of defective or deficiency of service at any time against the channel (Zee) or their production house.

7. Participants understand and agree that mere participation in the game show does not entitle the participants to get their loan waived off or to any other form of consideration. Only the winner of an episode will be entitled to get the winning amount as per the Rules and Regulations of the Game show;

8. This game is intended for entertainment. The channel (Zee) or their production house has not assured or guaranteed any participant of any prize or amount in consideration of his/her participation in the said game show.

9. The maximum amount that can be won in the game will be 100% of actual principal outstanding loan amount or Rs.10 lakhs whichever is lesser.

10. The percentage of loan waiver will be depending on the score secured by the participant in the game show. The winner of an episode will be entitled to get an amount equivalent to the percentage of the loan waiver he/she scored, in the outstanding principal loan amount. The winning amount will be calculated on the actual outstanding principal loan amount or Rs.10 lakhs whichever is lesser. Thus, the maximum principal outstanding loan amount in any case, is limited to Rs.10 Lakhs only. If the principal outstanding loan amount exceeds Rs.10 lakhs, Rs.10 lakhs will only be taken as the principal outstanding loan amount for the game. The percentage of winning in the game will be decided as per the game rules which have been explained to the participant before starting of the game.

11. The interest, charges, fees (including processing fees) penalties etc, outstanding if any in the loan account, will not be taken into consideration while calculating the winning amount. The winner has to bear all the pre-closure charges etc if any in the event of 100% waiver of loan.

12. It is understood that there will not be any winner if the two participants in the final round fail to answer correctly the question/s in the final round. The candidates eliminated shall not be entitled to any prize or gift or amount and they have to leave the game show.

13. The game flow, its format, procedure including elimination procedure shall be changed at any time at the absolute discretion of the channel. The decision of the channel with regard to any matter including but not limited to elimination and disqualification of any of the participant/s of the game, shall be final and binding on all participants.

14. The Channel shall be entitled to change the rules and regulations of the game show at any time at their absolute discretion

15. The channel (Zee) shall be entitled to terminate the game at any stage or time at its sole discretion and without any liability on its part. In the event of termination of the game, the participants shall not be entitled to claim any compensation or consideration.

16. All claims pertaining to the game show shall be made in writing to the channel (Zee) within 15 days from the date of completion of shooting of the relative episode of the game. The claims made after 15 days will not be entertained and no reply will be issued for any letter or notice.

17. In event of a participant winning a prize amount, he shall be awarded a Redemption certificate which shall be redeemed for the stipulated amount after 90 (ninety) days of the telecast of the relative episode.

18. PAN Card and valid bank account number should be furnished by the winner to the Channel for getting the cheque of the winning amount.

19. In case the winner loses the Redemption certificate, Channel shall not be responsible for the same and for the payment of the winning amount and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.

20. As per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, TDS shall be applicable to the winners subject to the value of cash received. TDS will be deducted on cash won for Rs.5000/- and above. All other applicable taxes for the winning amount shall be borne by the winner.

21. The general law which not inconsistent with the these rules shall also apply

22. All copyrights, performers’ rights, intellectual property rights in the said game show in which the participants are present and performed, shall be the exclusive the property of the channel (Zee) for the entire world and for perpetual period. The channel (Zee) shall be exclusively entitled to exploit all the rights in the said game show for all commercial and non-commercial purposes in any manner and in any way and by all means of exploitation which are presently known and to be invented in future, without any restrictions as to time and geographical area. Channel shall be entitled to use the parts/clippings of the game show for the purpose of promotion and publicity

23. It is understood that the channel (Zee) is under no obligation to telecast the said game show or any episode of the game show. Further, the channel shall be entitled to telecast the said game show with such additions, deletions, inserting advertisements, modifications etc at their absolute discretion and the participants shall have no right to raise any objection to the decision of the channel in this regard. The decision of the channel is final and binding on all the participants with regard to the interpretation of rules, process/procedures of the game, the number of rounds of the game, questions and their answers, selection of winners, elimination, disqualification etc. The participants shall not be entitled to challenge the decision of the Channel (Zee)

24. As and when required, before or after the shoot, the shooting team will shoot at participant’s residence / working place. This footage to be incorporated in the show. All the permissions, if any required will be taken by the participants. All the family members should be present for this shoot. Prior intimation will be given to the participant or the family members about this shooting.

25. It is mandatory to be present for the shoot on the given date, at given time, at the given address. The arrangements for the travel are to be done by the participant at their own cost.

26. Stay and food, for the outstation participants, will be arranged by the production house of the channel as per their normal standards during the shooting period.

27. The channel (Zee) shall not be responsible for the safety and security of the participants, their supporters and their belongings during the course of the said game show. The Channel (Zee) shall not be responsible for any loss or injury or damage, or death that may be caused to any participant as a result of any eventuality that may arise during the course of the said game show.

28. Costumes/ clothes to be worn on the shoot to be brought by the participant. It is advisable to bring three or more options for technical reasons.

29. Once the participation is confirmed, the participant will be abiding by all the rules and regulations of the show.

30. The channel shall pay the winning amount to the winner by a cheque drawn in the winner’s name. It is the winner’s responsibility to deposit the same into his/her loan account. The Channel (Zee) is not liable for re-payment of the outstanding loan on the participant’s loan account or/and for any documentation / correspondence with the financial firm from which the participant has availed the loan.

31. Rights of admission to the said game are reserved by the channel

32. The Participants shall abide by the game rules.

33. All rights to make changes or amendments in the show format and rules and regulations without prior notice are reserved by the company.

34. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at city civil courts at Bangalore and the jurisdiction of all other courts, forums, institutions is expressly excluded.

35. The employees of the Zee and Essel group of companies and their families, relatives, friends and the contractors associated with the game show, sponsors of the game show, their advertising agency/ies and all others associated with the game show either directly or indirectly are not eligible to participate in the said game. If any such instances are noticed at any time during the course of the game show, the candidature of such participants shall be disqualified at the absolute discretion of the Channel(Zee)
