Synopsis: COMEDY Kings and Queens… professionals and “to be” professionals..performing in an imaginary comedy club owned by “Cottonpet Karthik” and “Pakkad Mane Padma” who get performers to perform stand up comedy to entertain their club guests, and entertain the viewers of Zee Kannada..This is KOMEDY KHILADIGALU, a part talent hunt and part satirical show.

First time on Kannada television a comedy programme which is class apart and yet catches the attention of all classes and masses, KOMEDY KHILADIGALU on Zee Kannada every Monday to Friday at 8.00pm has gained immense popularity in its very first week of telecast.

The show's theme is "Look around the world and laugh, and make the world around you laugh". Professional comedians and “wanna be” comedians (shortlisted after rigorous auditions) perform in this gorgeous club setting which has a contemporary feel. It is also a “war of laughs” as the participants compete for the ultimate title “Komedy Khiladi”.

Performers walk up in “style” and pick on the funny side of all our lives and provide total entertainment. With performers like Richard lewis, Gundu Rao, Kashikar Muralidhar, Nagaraj Khote, Tabla Nani, Pranesh Gangavathy, Avinash, Achyuth Rao Padaki, Srinath Vashishta, Govindaraju, Narasimha Murthy, Mysore Jadav, Papa pandu – Shalini, Kari Basavaiah, the caliber and sheer talent of these participants throws the viewers into peels of laughter.
